Shawn brought her knitting projects in the other day before I left so I could check them out. She's got some large projects in the works!
First is a Berroco Remix sweater for Sarah from the Knits Men Want book. She's using a 7 needle to get 4.5 stitches to the inch. This color doesn't photograph easily, so the details are a bit lost, sorry. It's gorgeous in person, trust me.
Then she's using some Maine Farmhouse yarn and making Girasole by Jared Flood. The yarn was gifted to her, and as it's not really her color scheme, she's making this to gift back to the gifter... nice! She's run out of yarn and it's not quite finished, so she's going to look into ordering some Eco Wool in the dyed colors. The gauge of that would work really well with this.
And finally, a wedding gift for some friends! This is the Swirl Afghan from the Comfort Knitted & Crocheted Afghans Book. She's chosen some great colors of Comfort Worsted and has enlarged it quite a bit. What a nice gift!
